Why register?
The water industry contributes to and relies on the quality of the natural environment and strives to improve the environment whenever there is an opportunity. Sustainable development is therefore a culture embedded in the water industry. As an employee and environmental practitioner you will be aware of the global environmental challenges that face us all. Why not demonstrate your professionalism through an independently regulated qualification that cuts across all disciplines: Chartered Environmentalist?Who can register?
Registration is open to anyone who can satisfy the requirements of the CEnv Specification. To be eligible for assessment you must have attained 12 units of learning, including at least 4 years relevant vocational experience, where:• 1 year of academic study = 2 units and
• 1 year of relevant vocational experience = 1 unit.
How to register
Consider the standards required for registration as CEnv and decide if you are ready to apply. Download an application form and applicants short guide and follow the process outlined in the guide. The current fee for undergoing Professional Review is £75. If successful you will be invoiced for £50 to cover your registration fee with SocEnv. No further costs are payable until the next calendar year when the annual fee charged by SocEnv will be added to your IWO subscription. This is currently £30
